The Helminths is a dark 2D pixelart game that mixes precision platforming and environmental puzzles. Heavily inspired by games from the 90s and titles such as Celste, Limbo and the Oddworld series, presents a story of exploitation, starvation and survival in a dark sci-fi setting.

The game is set in a dystopian future where humanity is forced to leave Earth in search of a new home. However, the plan takes a turn when alien organisms - named Helminths - are discovered on Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. The colossal arks, originally intended to find a new home, settle on the moon's surface and are transformed into vast extraction farms, producing the galaxy's most delicious canned food: Helminths meat.

In The Helminths, you play as a creature destined to become food. Using your unique ability to control other characters by penetrating their bodies, you harness their skills to overcome obstacles, fight enemies, or reach heights by using them as trampolines. Master precision platforming and environmental puzzle-solving across 60+ levels, strategically employing this mechanic to slip past guards, access restricted areas, and ultimately escape the facility that exploits your species.
